Introduction

What is Gold Caribbean Poker?

Caribbean Poker is a classic casino card game where you compete alone against the dealer. Unlike traditional poker, there is no competition against other players – the only goal here is to beat the dealer's hand. The "Gold" version at bok666 also features enhanced graphics, faster gameplay, and a special progressive jackpot side bet that can bring a big prize at any moment.

Caribbean Poker was born in the 1980s on cruise ships around the Caribbean islands. From there, it gradually spread to the world's finest casinos. bok666 has brought that experience to your fingertips – on mobile or desktop, anytime.

Gameplay

How to Play – Step by Step

Caribbean Poker is a very easy game to pick up. Just follow the steps below and you'll be up and running in no time.

1
Place Your Ante Bet

The game starts with an Ante bet — whatever you place as the Ante is your main wager. You also have the option to place a side bet (Progressive Jackpot) at the same time.

2
Cards Dealt

Both you and the dealer receive five cards each. You can see all five of your cards, but only one of the dealer's cards is revealed — the remaining four stay hidden.

3
Raise or Fold — Make Your Decision

Assess your hand and decide. If you think you have a strong chance of winning, place a Raise (double your Ante). If your hand looks weak, Fold and forfeit the Ante.

4
Dealer's Hand Revealed

When you Raise, the dealer reveals all their cards. To qualify, the dealer must hold at least Ace-King or better.

5
Results & Payouts

If the dealer doesn't qualify, you win the Ante and get your Raise back. If the dealer qualifies and your hand is stronger, you receive a set payout on both Ante and Raise. Hit a Royal Flush and you're looking at the jackpot!

Strategy

Tips to Improve Your Winning Chances

Calling Caribbean Poker a pure luck game isn't quite right — making the right decisions can meaningfully reduce the house edge.

Remember the Ace-King Rule

If your hand contains both an Ace and a King, Raising is usually the profitable move. These two cards reduce the likelihood of the dealer meeting the qualification threshold.

When Should You Fold?

If your hand is below Ace-King and you have no pair, flush, or straight, folding is the smart move. Over-raising in these situations will cost you more in the long run.

Be Cautious with Side Bets

The progressive jackpot side bet has a higher house edge. Place it occasionally as a "fun bet," but not as your main strategy. The side bet pays out only when you have a Flush or better.

Bankroll Management

Set a separate budget for each session. On bok666, you can start with a minimum bet of ৳20 — play more hands at lower stakes to build your skills.

Read the Dealer's Face-Up Card

One of the dealer's cards is face up. If it's a weak card (2 through 6), the dealer has a harder time qualifying — which makes a Raise more favorable for you.

Use Practice Mode

New to bok666? Start in demo / practice mode first. It lets you learn how the game works and test your strategies without putting real money on the line.

Jackpot

Progressive Jackpot – The dream prize

The standout feature of bok666's Gold Caribbean Poker is its progressive jackpot. Every side bet placed adds to the pool, so the jackpot keeps growing. One lucky player with a Royal Flush takes the entire jackpot.

Partial prizes are also available — hit a Straight Flush and you'll receive a set percentage of the jackpot. Four of a Kind and Full House hands also carry strong payouts.

Important Information
To be eligible for the progressive jackpot, you must place a specific side bet each round. Without it, you won't qualify for the jackpot — even if you land a Royal Flush.

General Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Although accumulator bets in Gold Caribbean Poker are not quite like traditional sports betting, bok666 offers a special "Multi-Table Accumulator" option where you can place a series bet on the outcomes of multiple poker rounds at once. You must win each round to advance to the next. Winning all rounds together results in a much higher total payout — up to 3 to 5 times more than a standard bet. Keep in mind, however, that losing any single round forfeits the entire accumulator bet, making this a high-risk option.

If the app won't open or keeps freezing, first check that your internet connection is stable and that your phone has enough storage and RAM. Then force-close the app completely and relaunch it. If you see an "Update Required" message, download the latest APK directly from the official bok666 website — not from the Google Play Store, as it may not always carry the most recent version. iOS users should update via the App Store. If the issue persists, reach out to bok666's 24/7 support chat.
